LEKKER
This one is kind of hard to explain quickly, but let me try. This was an in-house, all-in-one role for international e-Bike brand LEKKER.
My role was to kick off their creative offering in Australia, everything I made in Aus was used globally, we’re talking shop fronts in Berlin, socials in U.S.A, OOH in Europe and plenty more. I reported directly to the CMO based in Amsterdam and worked alongside the ops and sales teams on the ground.
But I wasn’t just creative, small place = a lot a roles. I was also the head of marketing, I produced all my own shoots, I designed all my own artwork, I even taught myself how to animate. Oh, and I handled the marketing finances too. Just to be clear. I’m not saying I can do all of this going forward, just that I have done it before (that suit background comes in handy sometimes).
Due to the nature of the business, we didn’t really produce campaigns, instead I worked with local photographers and videographers to create a bank of assets I could use going forward. These images and videos became the base for any comms we needed - think EOFY sales, websites, store imagery, etc. etc.
I wrote plenty too, I wrote their first TOV (see further down) and implemented it through the ‘marketing funnel’ as they say - eDMs, website copy, in-store experience, socials and more.
That bank of assets also turned into work like this - a campaign designed for PTV rest stops, pointing out the reasons why public transport is actually the wrong choice.
This is part of the tone of voice I created. The actual doc has more pages than this, but I figured one exert was enough.
P.S. breaking letters “off grid” was part of our brand identity - that isn’t a mistake.
If you’re still here, this is just a snapshot of some of the video elements. It has no writing, but I’m still proud of the brand aesthetic we created.
