In early 2023, medicinal use of psilocybin and other psychoactive drugs was still illegal in Australia, even for people with treatment-resistant depression. Which, in our eyes, and in the eyes of the International Criminal Court legal documents, classifies as torture. Look up Article 7 (1) (f) if you don’t believe me.

He managed to dodge it though, because right before our final concept presentation the use of these drugs was legalised in treatment, without our intervention needed.

A win for Australia, but a loss for this campaign which never went ahead.
